Sensual bath by Holiday Products

Once upon a time, I lived with a couple who were swingers.  He was in the U.S. Navy, and she hosted “Fantasy Parties”.  Think Tupperware Party only with sex toys.  Usually, in my experience, nonthreatening beginner sex toys.  I often tagged along with her, and then, when she stretched herself too thin, eventually started hosting some on my own to help her out.  And one of the products she carried, but could never sell, was Coochy Rash Free Shave Cream.

The benefits sounded amazing.  One of her selling points was always that her husband, who had a serious burn scar on most of his face and neck, used and loved it.  I could (and did) testify to that, since I lived with them and saw him use it, but she still couldn’t even sell it to me.  I’m not really sure why.

Ooo, what’s that?

That is none other than the Coochy Collection by Holiday Products.  It’s four one ounce bottles of Coochy Rash Free Shave Cream in Unscented, Original, Green Tea and Pear Berry.  Read more…

Lotion by Intimate Organics

We have definitely found a winner in the lotion department.  And I will absolutely be exploring the rest of this company’s products.

Long ago, in a land not so far away, I used to work at this cute little green shop in the mall called “The Earth Shop”.  You’ve all seen shops like it before, I’m sure.  The Earth Shop catered more to the hippies that had grown out of their “wild and free” phase.  The ones that work in Corporate America.  The ones that wear their causes like badges instead of just something they believe in.  It was a little green store before being green was cool.

This store sold every organic personal care product you could imagine.  Lotions and oils and scrubs and candles and soaps and makeups and shave creams and…  And even with the employee discount, I couldn’t afford their prices.  So I lusted after their organic products till I was blue in the face.  Read more…

Product Review: Lust for Body Luscious Body Lotion by Lust Cosmetics

October 4th, 2009 rayne No comments

I am a lotion fanatic.  And I’m not picky.  If it smells nice but sucks at moisturizing, I’ll use it.  If it’s practically odorless but moisturizes like a champ, I’ll use it.  I don’t really care if it leaves my skin greasy, or “slimy” as M calls it.  A lotion, for me, has to meet three qualifications.  It must be a smell M can tolerate, sooth the itchiness of my normally ridiculously dry hands and live up to its price.

M is particular.  Ridiculously so.  It can’t be too girly or greasy.  Matter of fact, He’d much prefer His lotion have no fragrance at all.  I mean, He’s just going to stuff His lotioned-up feet into socks and sneakers.  What’s the point of a fragrance? But, for once, what M thinks doesn’t matter much cause the fragrance of the lotion I’m about to review is too feminine for Him anyway.

It’s mine! All mine! cue maniacal laughter

The other product Lust Cosmetics sent me, if you haven’t guessed by now, was Lust for Body Luscious Body Lotion.  As much as I hate to say it, I’m really torn on this product.  Read more…

Sensual bath by Sliquid LLC

Okay, men.  When I say, you’re gonna want to look away.  You don’t have to.  But I’m warning you.  Part of this review will squick you out.

I’ve been looking for a good feminine wash for ages.  I used to use Summer’s Eve, but, after a while, it caused more irritation than plain old soap and water.  So I stopped.

When I started this reviewing thing, I bumbled around on Eden Fantasys in their Sensual Bath and Body section, and my eye fell on Sliquid Splash Gentle Feminine Wash.  My first thought, as with most of us aromaphiles, was “What fragrances do they have?”

It comes in grapefruit thyme (I’ve been saying grapefruit ginger to everyone.  Everyone? I lied.  Though I wonder what that would smell like.  Good, I bet.), honeydew cucumber and unscented.  I’ve never smelled anything grapefruit thyme before, so I stuck with what I know:  Honeydew cucumber.  I now wish I’d bought the grapefruit thyme.  Not because I don’t like the honeydew cucumber.  I do! A lot! I just wish I’d had the balls to try something new.

Sliquid Splash comes in a recyclable plastic bottle with a push-down lid.  The coral and lime green label sports a woman’s face, the symbol for female and such things as its 100% Vegan ingredients:   Read more…
