After much reading, talking, and enjoying of Insatiable Desire, I was invited to join and blog here.  I have to say that I have never been so excited before to blog on the internet.  So, let me lay down a couple of basics for you fine readers about myself and what I have to offer.

First of all, like rayne, I am involved with the BDSM lifestyle, but I identify only as a submissive.  For now, at least.  I realized I was kinky at a very early age.  When I say very early age, I mean five years old.  I felt these little butterflies flare up in my stomach when I saw Princess Jasmine fall slave to Jafar.  You know it was hot, don’t even lie.  I couldn’t put a name to what it was that gave me those butterflies, but I always knew there was something different inside of me, something different than the other kids.  I mean, what thirteen year old has aspirations of laying at the foot of someone’s bed in her future?  Not many, that’s for sure.  I began exploring this taboo lifestyle when I was sixteen and read some rather misleading material.  I was afraid of this lifestyle and the people living in it.  At seventeen I was introduced to collarme.com (which is an epic fail and I would never recommend to anyone).  At eighteen I began meeting people who pretended to live this lifestyle and I got myself into some rather sticky situations.  Now, at twenty-one, I have finally found my niche after many failed attempts at finding it earlier on.

I am an active participant in my local community here in New Orleans.  I am a member of NOBLE (New Orleans Leather and Bondage Enthusiasts) as well as a member of another local club.  In the past ten months since moving back home here to New Orleans, I discovered a lot about myself and have undergone much growth and exploration.  In the past few months I have experienced a long distance relationship with my former Owner and have entered into a new relationship, one with a polyamorous dynamic.

So, here’s the nitty gritty.  Why am I here?  I am here to write about my experiences with my local community, my new relationship, and dealing with living the lifestyle I have chosen while working it around family, work, and school.  I am a full time student, I work 20 hours, roughly, a week, and I live at home still.  It’s an interesting roller coaster and definitely a fun ride.
