Not Quite Freefalling… Yet.

October 6th, 2010 2 comments

I know I didn’t post yesterday.  I’m kind of forcing myself to post today.  I’m not slacking.  I’m just busy with things I’d like to be doing over the holidays.  Starting with M’s birthday on the eighth of this month, and ending with the new year.  And I don’t just mean things M and I will be doing together in the privacy of our own home.  But things we’ll be doing here, and on Mindcryme.com, as well.

For example, be keeping your eyes peeled for a Halloweeny Fleshlight giveaway in honor of M’s birthday.  And I’m working out the details for a Toys for Tots drive.  And there may or may not be discussion about a Liberator giveaway around the time of our wedding anniversary.

Yesterday, M took me out to lunch.  I really didn’t deserve it.  I’d been pissy all morning.  But He took me anyway.  And after He pointed out how bitchy I was being, I tried to curb it.  Read more…

National Equality March (AKA Real Post #2… Sort of.)

August 25th, 2009 4 comments

Okay, so this isn’t really a real post.  It’s an advertisement.  But it’s an advertisement for a really good cause.  So it counts as a real post, right? Oh hush up, you.  And keep reading.

On October 10th, 2009, people from all over the nation will be gathering to march on Washington.

Why?

“Our One Single Demand:

Equal protection in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states. We will accept no less and will work until it is achieved.  Equality Across America exists to support grassroots organizing in all 435 Congressional Districts to achieve full equality.

Equal Protection encompasses many issues, including:

  • Repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) so that every marriage in every state has the same federal rights.
  • Repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell so that LGBT persons may serve in the military openly and with the same rights as their straight counterparts.
  • An end to workplace discrimination for everyone with an Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) that protects everyone.
  • The right to adopt children and raise families like any other parents.
  • Hate Crimes legislation that includes LGBT people and protects us like any other targeted group.
  • Immigration reform that recognizes same-sex couples and ends the needless separation of families.
  • A comprehensive anti-bullying policy in our schools via the Safe Schools Improvement Act.”*

If that doesn’t sink it for you, check out this commentary over at Advocate.com and see if that makes you want to march.  If I wanted M to resign before, I really want Him to now.  Cause then His lack of PTO wouldn’t matter and we could be at the march.  Read more…

Double O cream? Does it work?

That’s what I wanna know!

DominaDoll and Lust Cosmetics had a giveaway and my name got pulled.

What’d I get? Lust for Double O Multiple Pleasure Potion.

I’m gonna review it.  Cause I wanna.  But I’ve been told (Bet you can’t guess by who!) that I have to wait till the monthly monster goes away.  Cause He wants to play, too.  Lol.

But, naturally, while I wait, I had to torture myself.  I ripped it open opened it ever so gently so as not to make it explode, only to find out there would be no explosion.  It’s packaged quite well in its pretty little tub.

Since I couldn’t use it, I tugged the protective cover off and sniffed the cream inside.  As much as I hate to say it, the smell of Tiger Balm is not sexy.  Unless, maybe, you’re seventy.  But I’m betting not even then.  So that’s kind of a let down.

We’ll see, though! It’s $29.99 over at Lust Cosmetics.  We’ll see if it’s worth the money.
