Shit I Did on Other People’s Websites – The New Year Edition

There hasn’t been one of these in a while. I’ve been too busy to really write here, much less round up everything I’ve done everywhere else. But there’s a couple things I’d like to share with you, so here’s some shit I did last year, and some shit I’ve done this year. Most recent first.

It's the boy cat! When we brought him home on the left. Yesterday on the right. We've had him about two months, I think? I'd have to go digging to find out exactly. Same room, same chair, same basic posish just facing the opposite direction. Hee!

It’s been… a long friggin time since I’ve done a monthly round up. Dude, I can’t even begin to tell you how hectic life is right now. But I’m betting you get it. Everyone’s lives seem to be hectic right now. In any case, here’s what I’ve been doing this year.

In November, we celebrated Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving, and a whole buttload of other holidays.  For me, it was a month of introspective thought, and peaceful contentment.  M and I have gotten along better this month than we have in years.  And we seem to have fallen into a comfortable routine that helps to keep us both upbeat, and looking at the future with hopeful eyes.

I know I’ve been saying that a lot.  And I realize that, true to form, we’ll probably slip back into bickering and not understanding each other temporarily.  It seems to be how we learn.  And ya know… That’s what it’s all about.  Shit happens.  Learn from it.
