1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup whole milk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add melted butter and milk. Stir just until moistened. Allow to rest one minute.
Drop by heaping tablespoons onto nonstick baking sheet.
Cook for 14 minutes or until edges turn golden brown.
This recipe can make 6-8 small biscuits, but we like ’em big around here, so I just make 4 big ones.
