Ooo, what’s that?

You’ve read my review of the We-Vibe Touch. It’s good stuff. The toy, not the review. I mean, the review, too, if I do say so myself, but that’s rude so let’s just pretend I didn’t say so myself. Or something.

ANYway…the other toy in the pic is the We-Vibe Thrill. I was kinda worried about trying it at first, because a few reviewers have had issues with it. But as is usually the case, I was reminded that vaginas are each their own lady, and finicky to boot. And my vagina gives the Thrill a very enthusiastic clit up. Read more…

Product Review: Rabbit Habit by Vibratex

July 23rd, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

Oprah Magazine calls the Rabbit Habit by Vibratex “The Rolls Royce of Sex Toys”, and I call whoever said that a “Sex Toy n00b”.  Keep reading to see why.

What’d it come in?

Rabbit Habit comes in a clear plastic box with copper flower outlines.  Tucked in the bottom is a red cardboard insert that sports all the Rabbit Habit’s claims to fame, and directions on the inside of the toy.

How’s it made?

This dual stimulator is made of jelly-like purple vinyl, with an off-white plastic handle/battery compartment.  It’s nine and a half inches, all told, with about five insertable inches.  It’s got a diameter of just under an inch and a half at its widest point, and it’s squishy enough that I think it would be comfortable for just about any user.  Even those who usually enjoy thinner vibes.  Read more…

Product Review: Snugglepuss by Vibratex

February 26th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

Isn’t it funny looking? Cin has one, too, and it just looked like so much fun.  It’s the Snugglepuss by Vibratex.

How’s it made?

The Snugglepuss is hinged pink plastic encased in a pink elastomer sleeve.  It’s phthalates and latex free and hypoallergenic.  It’s about four inches long and an inch and a quarter at its widest point.

It’s shaped sort of like a “U”, with one side having a sort of butterfly on it with nubs between the wings, and the other being shaped sort of like a big toe (Yes, I realize how gross that visual is.  I can’t help it! That’s what it looks like!) with nubs all over it as well.

The side with the butterfly comes off to reveal the batter compartment, which, if I’m to be honest, I was rather disappointed with.  First, the sleeve is excruciatingly difficult to remove without tearing.  I managed, but I have a tendency to treat my sex toys like the slightest wrong touch will break them.  Second, once I got the sleeve off, the battery cap just sort of popped off in my hands.  It’s a teeny-tiny square of plastic with no real clasp to speak of.  Read more…

Product Review: G-Rock Pleasurizer by California Exotics

February 12th, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s the G-Rock Pleasurizer by California Exotics.

What’d it come in?

It comes in a clear plastic box with blue trim and purple hearts and lettering.  There’s frosted molded plastic that fits inside the box and holds the G-Rock and its N sized battery.  And on the back is a diagram showing you how the toy gets inserted.

How’s it made?

It’s made of pretty, nonporous, phthalates and latex and scent free, lavender silicone and it’s about eight inches, end to end, and it’s about an inch wide all over.  The only exception to this is the angled clitoral “shield”, which is about two inches wide.  Read more…

Product Review: Couture Collection Ecstasy by California Exotics

February 12th, 2010 Comments off

CE-4569-70-3_5803_1Ooo, what’s that?

Isn’t it prettiful? I just adore that pink.  And look! No rabbit ears.  Just nubs.

That, my lovelies, is Ecstasy, from California Exotics‘s Petite Couture Collection line.

What’d it come in?

What else? California Exotics’s trademark flimsy white box.  Only instead of being wrapped in plastic, this one was wrapped in a thin styrofoam sleeve.  That’s probably what saved the toy when it slipped out of my FedEx man’s fingers and glided a couple feet in front of him before abruptly meeting the asphalt.  Thanks, FedEx Man! Product Review: Thrusting Jack Rabbit by California Exotics

January 22nd, 2010 Comments off

Ooo, what’s that?

That’s the Thrusting Jack Rabbit by California Exotics.

What’d it come in?

This toy comes nestled in clear molded plastic inside a clear plastic box with hot pink trim.

How’s it made?

The Thrusting Jack Rabbit is eleven and one-half inches of clear purple, phthalates free TPE speckled with silver glitter.  Its diameter is one and one-half inches, though it looks bigger than that.  And for all that, its insertable length is only four and one-half inches.

The handle is shiny purple plastic.  It’s got two + buttons, two – buttons and an off button.  There are six LED lights over each set of + and – buttons to indicate what level the toy is on.

On the bottom of the handle, there’s a twist cap, sort of like you would find on the belly of a piggy bank.  – The whole toy, really, looks like something that Barbie would use.  All little girlish and princess-y.  It’s cute. – Unscrew the cap and flip the toy right-side up and a piece of white plastic falls into your hand.  That would be what you snap your four AA batteries into.  Each battery clip has a diagram on the plastic showing you which direction to put the batteries in.  Read more…
